I have an inkling that summer is getting anxious and wants to make an early arrival this year. It was 90+ degrees today, and when we took a stroll through a park way south of town out in the country, I did not regret that I chose to go sleeveless. We were really taken back in surprise at how warm it would be today. At least nature compromised and offered a good dose of breeze here and there. Thank goodness for my trusty wide-brimmed hat as well. 

It was so nice to find along the river this rusty, secluded bridge and abundantly green scenery, that we couldn't help capturing some of their poetry into still moments. The sunburst gleaming through the leafy canopy was like the forest's chandelier. Young trees stripped during the winter stood as fence posts at the natural arboretum's edge. Red cardinals flew through the woods adding dashes of color amongst the greenery. And is anyone nostalgic about Polaroid cameras as I am? The whole process of snapshot, extract photo, and start shaking around in a little dance was so much fun when I was a kid. There is something nice about those golden days.
