Some may say it's fashion faux pas if you wear brown with black hues, but how does the leopard do it? For the longest time, my eyes have been zoned into those leopard print heels. I finally caved and bought them (with a discount! woohoo) and I wouldn't mind going to detention for them. So to go against the school of normal color combination, I decided to jump the playground fence and wear a brown + black outfit and top it off with the latest feline print addition to my shoe collection. (For you curious folk who actually read the item links, yes, I know how to spell "dynamite" correctly. That's just the way the label calls that select pair of heels. Their way of a spin on the name, I guess. And this may make you aghast, but spelling was one of my favorite subjects back in those classroom days. I can still hear screams all the way down the school corridor as students ran away from their spelling and math classes...could one of those been you?)

i love brown and black together, just like navy and black and so on. I never did pay any attention to fashion "rules" because then it wouldn't be fun, and fashion is supposed to be about breaking rules, right? i love the leopard heels! i just sent the same pair overseas to Marcella from Fashion Distraction, so I saw them in person and they're amazing! I also love SM's other leopard platforms- anything leopard is good in my book! and yeah, I'm a bit anal about spelling and I'm constantly correcting everyone around me, it's one of my pet peeves :)

I am 100% against the idea that colors and patterns can be combined in a "right" or "wrong" way. If it looks good, it looks good - and in your case, well, obviously you look absolutely awesome! I must say those heels do beat my wedges - or maybe we should just call it a Steve Madden tie.
I've always been obsessed with spelling and grammar - yes, to the point where the people in my class despised me - so it's incredibly hard for me to accept the fact that I pretty much suck at both when it comes to writing in English. Conquering a second language turned out to be a lot more difficult than I expected, but then again, it's truly rewarding when I feel like I actually evolve and improve.
I honestly hope that you and I will meet one day - you seem like such a lovely, beautiful, generous, caring, intelligent and warm person, I'm a bit jealous of the people who get to call you their friend! ;)
