F21 crochet dress | H&M criss-cross tunic | Jeffrey Campbell Benched wedges
As an addition to my last installment of "places with a past," this railroad track has always caught my eye as well. I'm afraid that my curiosity gets the best of me. Sometimes when I pass by I begin to wonder, how many cargo trains have passed on it's mighty railway? How repetitively has it single-handedly stopped automobile traffic? No one will ever know, except maybe the wildflowers that whisper amongst the wayside. Even locomotives have their own tall-tales.
One of my latest obsessions this spring/summer is anything made of crochet. The material is a perfect maelstrom of dainty, feminine, and intricate. And I also couldn't help bringing my Jeffrey Campbell Benched wedges out in the sunshine again. I think shoes looking like that deserve much more stage presence. If only there were a platform in sight, just along those deserted railroad tracks.
