While browsing through my favorite antique stores in town a couple weeks ago, I found this 1970's gem. I've been wanting a white hardcase purse for quite sometime, and this vintage find was perfect. Gold accents, basket weaving exterior, and leather pockets on the inside...total love.

When my mind escapes from the shroud of normal responsibilities, I like to relish on songs that would be perfect for certain sections in films. I always thought the song “Exitlude” by The Killers would make a perfect conclusion to a movie's storyline. Imagine this song playing (for avid The Killers fans, you probably will be able to rehearse the tune in your mind) while the picture screen dissolves into blackness and the credits begin to roll. It is a perfect blend of acoustic sound and the tinkering of the piano fading into oblivion.

Unlike the last lyric, to my demise, it's been thunderstorming and hailing for the entire past week. Tomorrow we will have a very welcomed break of sunshine. The recent weather pattern has brought a whole new meaning to the phrase "April showers." So here's to the kaleidoscope of cheerful colors that sun will unfold in the days to come.
