mermaids and other bathing beauties.

Asos cropped print tee | Asos textured lampshade skirt | Jeffrey Campbell Mariel suede wedges | River Island saddle purse | Jeepers Peepers Audrey 1960's sunnies | Essie "Turquoise and Caicos" nail lacquer

It finally feels like spring! A few cold weather days here and there, but seeing green grass peeking up on lawns and berries dotting tree branches is sure making me giddy. I am already conjuring up thoughts of tropical islands with sandy beaches lined by cerulean seas. That being said, I have been on the hunt for items in bright colors and a new assortment of sunglasses. This textured lampshade skirt has been added to my stock of brights (I'm a sucker for full skirts), but so has this lovely sea foam colored nail polish by Essie. It finds a twin in the upcoming OPI Pirates of the Caribbean collection's "Mermaid Tears" color, which you can read more about here

As for my search of new variety in sunnies, I have been keen on cat's eye shapes and 1960's styles. I scored these 1960's glasses that were very Audrey Hepburn-esque. I still have not found the perfect pair of cat's eyes glasses yet, and this is even after trolling through several antique shoppes. It's okay though. My kitty Neko will be the stylish feline for me at the time being. Meow.

Loved the color mix! Can't wait for warmer days to wear colors galore, the nail color is amazing, I'm currently obsessed with that same lacquer, essie pastels are love, just looking at it makes me feel spring-ish! ... Loved the wedges!

Great color combination here. Such a great season for blending different color palettes - bright blue, soft color and sea foam green are the right notes.

Love your shades too. So cliche, but I definitely did find myself in a coffee shop with the Fancy Teacup. How did you ever know?

*Great blog! Following.

Oh I've been dying to find a way to wear a cutoff tshirt with a skirt! It looks fabulous! And I'm also in love with your heels. I've been looking for a new black pair myself since I wore out my black booties. I also like that your skirt is electric blue, because it seems the past season has been a little lackluster in the color department!
