I'm ecstatic because I finally found the perfect little Jeffrey Campbell wedges before they disappeared. It seems that these little wedge beauties have been on the wanted list everywhere and keep on becoming back-ordered. Lo and behold, last week, they were in my size. Heck yes. (Thank you Urban Outfitters!) It's been interesting because I have bought a couple JC shoes in the past, but they never seem to fit. Wondrously, these wedges did. I know a lot of people have been buzzing about the infamous Lita's, and the Mariel's have been around too. However, I can't help being in the mindset of spring and exercising a little practicality at the same time. So the Mariel wedge lassoed in my heart and now I am a die-hard cowgirl for Jeffrey Campbell shoes.
The dust bowl here sure hasn't been letting down its windy fervor. So foregoing my usual skirt attire, I opted for some high waist shorts. I'm beginning to stock up on some spring fashion favorites. High waist shorts channeling the 1970's. Check. Varsity jacket a la 1950's. Check. I just bought a fluo orange skirt recently; I will doll up in it one day for you guys and let you darlings become my esteemed critics. The color is not usually something I would purchase, but gosh darn it, I will be brave this season.
