After the blizzard that interrupted all routine last week, our city is still buried in snow. With another impeding storm to arrive later this week, I can not express how much I am eager for spring. As a Los Angeles native, I am pretty envious of my family and friends right now, basking in the warm, breezy California sun. Wouldn't you? However, playing in the snow can be fun, and of course, not having to go to work. There is also something about enjoying the privilege of living somewhere that has all four seasons.
To cure your curiosity, no, that pretty horse is not mine. I wish though, isn't he a beauty? He was parked along all the other means of modern transportation outside of a grocery store like it was normal. Little surprises like that make the slow, bitter transition into spring not so difficult. Well, except for the albedo effect of the snow and cabin fever, of course. Only major sunnies can prevent such continuous squinting. And at least everybody who's snowed in on this part of stateside, is not experiencing The Shining's type of cabin fever. Whew.
