So, ta-dah, believe it or not, this is my first attempt to wear a denim skirt. For some reason a denim skirt has always been an "if" factor for me. For example, if it were different shade, a different style, or even a different length, the denim skirt becomes a difficult item to pull off. This one however,  somehow worked. I really am into 1950's full skirts; I'm enamored with their silhouette, since it flatters most figures. 

Also, I finally feel like I can take these platform heels out from hibernation. The cognac color of these heels emulate "spring" and I felt more comfortable dolled up in my black ones during the winter. So now these heels can say hello to spring. And hello, 1970's. The return of cropped tops, all things floral, the "prarie chic" look, and towering platforms. Both spring and the 1970's certainly have made lovely comebacks.
