No matter how much I love the beautiful winter, the intermittent warmer days are welcomed. There is nothing like basking in the temporary warmth and dreaming of spring. Koby and I took advantage of the lovely weather and spent some time downtown. It is peculiar in my city--where other cities have a bustling downtown hub during the weekends, our downtown becomes a refuge for vagabonds, aspiring artists, echoes of past building fires, and a choir of bells chiming from the tops of abandoned churches. Do not misinterpret me, our city has an extraordinary and beautiful downtown. However, its period of business is inverse to that of other cities. That is what makes our city a lovely work of progress, a collection of artwork which in time will leave its residents in awe and remind them of why they are loyal. 

Even though I am more drawn to the fashion of the 1950's, I adore certain styles of the other decades as well. Particularly the bell shaped sleeved style. I love bell shaped sleeves even if they get in the way of closing doors, sweep counter tops, and act as hiding places for my petite hands. Although, I would more love for spring to open her curtains and take a bow once again.
