Say moo to latest addition to my overgrowing shoe collection, the Jeffrey Campbell Munroe. The moment I saw them, they landed on my covet list in a nano second. I was ecstatically surprised to find out my sweetheart sister, Jennifer, bought them for me as part of my early, early birthday present. (Or should I say, "our," since we are twins?) I love the 1950's look of them, how they look like retro roller skates, and how they emulate the glamour of Hollywood star, Marilyn, herself. And despite the obvious fact that I'm a total sucker for anything topped with bows. Fitting that they were a birthday gift, right?

The rustic side of me is quite fond of idyllic farmlands, rolling orchards, and sunlit pastures. Somehow when I wear dungarees, I feel like I can swing around a milk bucket, gallop around with my sheep dog, and run a tight ship with the barn animals. Of course farm life isn't always peaches and cream, but there is something so peaceful about the idea, that it almost seems like a simple getaway. And believe it or not, I bought this lace dress on sale around the past winter holiday. I have not gotten a chance to wear it. It is somewhat transparent, and a bit too short for my liking. So I improvised and transformed it into a top. Maybe someday it will have its chance to bear its entire soul in the sunlight.
