Volcom utility jacket | Thrifted floral romper | H&M bead bracelet set | H&M platforms | OPI nail lacquer in Guy Meets Gal-veston
The weekend has finally arrived! (Imagine me twirling around and around in glee.) This weekend has felt longer than usual, and Friday afternoon could not have been more sought after. While we were scurrying around town to find a place for the photo shoot, we happened upon these San Franciscan looking lofts by the river. You can see them in the background of the photos. Three stories, calm blue with white trim, bay windows, narrow frames—my heart was immediately stolen. I badly want to move into one of those now. Hopefully I can snatch one up in the summer; I’m crossing my fingers!
I received this Volcom utility jacket from the lovely Natalie Suarez of NatalieOffDuty in the mail earlier this week. It has instantly became a closet staple. The jacket has a relaxed and tomboyish look to it, but it features cinching around the waist for a more chic effect. I absolutely adore it. It nearly makes a perfect pair with any item, e.g. this floral romper to add a little daintiness.
This year finally feels like we’ve been able to enjoy an actual spring season. Last year went from bitter cold to extreme heat in less than a week. However, this sweet, blooming weather tends to make me nostalgic for seashell embedded beaches and the mild ocean breeze orchestra I got to enjoy growing up. If I could have nine lives like my kitty, Neko, I would totally be a mermaid in one of them.
