There is something about the desolate countryside that is so exhilarating. One can feel as if they could get lost in an abundance of continuous freedom. It has the essence of independence that rolls on like the endless sun-kissed hills and emerald fields brimming with the livelihood of our food system. Earlier this week, I decided to wear my horse print top as we took a stroll out into farming territory. We did not meet any creatures that was being represented on my tee, but we did encounter many cows, grasshoppers, rabbits, and the occasional human. Always wanted to go horseback riding since I was a little girl, perhaps some day I will get that opportunity. Getting away from all the industrialization, buzzing metropolis, and a society on the hinge of becoming completely technological in lifestyle is a much needed breath of rustic air.
