Some of you may not be aware that I indeed own another pair of eyes. I didn't start wearing contacts until last fall however, so before that I was a spectacles girl. There you go, seeing me with glasses. Nerdy, right? I do not mind the look. (This is coming from a girl, however, who grew up on novels instead of television shows, and enjoyed ordering Newberry Honor Medal books from the Scholastic Book Club circulation when a kid.) Speaking of celestial objects, in my next chapter of DIY projects, do you like my galaxy nail art? It involves about 7 nail lacquer shades, but only takes about 20 minutes to complete. My first attempt was an intergalactic success, and I was pretty happy with the outer space results. Another tidbit about me as a kid, I was enamored with astronomy and would visit the NASA JPL open house in Pasadena every year. As for events, anyone excited about Fashion's Night Out? September is fashion month, but I am even more stoked this year as my city will be participating in Fashion's Night Out. I'm geared up to take on the fashion universe with my FNO collection tote and remain in orbit around all the festivities (no space suits are involved).
