Happy summer solstice! Yes, the warm season has finally arrived, and I am embracing it with wide, open arms. Although it has skyrocketed to the near low 100's, the sun couldn't have made a more grand entrance. The weather is perfect for the ballerina in all of us, as I just want to twirl around in the gardens and sip on a fresh, arctic cold drink. Or I could be more ladylike and sit on the porch, fastened in a corset and fanning myself, while asking someone to hurry and fetch the smelling salts. Preferably the first scenario for me.
