As I type, I have almost completed my packing, as we leave for L.A. tomorrow. So I will be keeping this post short and sweet. There was a day of relief from the humid sun this week, so I decided to take out my bell sleeved top one last time before returning it to the dark caverns of my closet. Pink shorts have been all the rage lately. I am quite an ardent fan of the black and pink combination. Anything paired with black, really.  And I have become quite fond of the striped horse, as I picked up this scarf at the store the other day. I have my sights set on a zebra cropped top, which I am waiting until I empty my entire wallet in L.A. to come to a decision whether or not to get it. Of course, the weather was too sweltering to wear a scarf without garnering a few curious glances from the public eye, so I ended up making it useful as a belt. 

Alas, my suitcase is calling me. I must get back to my vacation duties. I will keep you posted on my L.A. adventures! And to my stateside readers, have a lovely and fun Independence Day weekend!
